Space + Art

Space is something that people have been involved in and attempted to learn more about more and more ever since the beginning of our time. In combination of everything in our last 10 weeks of our class, we see it all in place while looking at this weeks lecture with space and art. With the technology being shown with the telescopes that Galileo invented, to the math being shown when looking at the lightyears and distance, to the nano science part being shown when you look at the perspective of how small we are in comparison to the rest of the universe. My interest was drawn to this week because of how relatable it is to the whole quarter.

While looking more in depth into Space now and seeing incredible images and videos, I really do believe that space is art in and of itself. So many painters and artist can capture images, or create their own, because of the infinite space, the beautiful pieces, and detailed pieces that are spread in our space. A lot of people take the images in our space for granted because it is something very hard to be involved with, but it is something that would be very worth peoples time to admire and love.

This week was really able to capture the true headlines of all the weeks leading up to this one in all of our previous weeks. The able to relate it was intriguing to me, as I really enjoying seeing Space compared with art.

  1. I really found space to be fascinating as well. The fact that it is an infinite and ongoing investigation is kind of scary. I think the ability we have to depict space through art is fascinating and as we learn more about space the quality of art will continue to grow.

  2. Kyle,
I think that space holds an endless amount of possibilities for art and beauty as well. It is quite interesting how space is always there, but we never really think about it and how small we are in relation. We can benefit from learning more about space and the art that it could be because there is basically an endless amount of information that we can learn about space. Great blog!
